Bugaboo Shoe Company was formed after our first daughter's adoption. Searching for quality leather toddler and children's shoes that were unique, stylish, and affordable was exhausting. Many children's shoes that were reasonably priced were made out of man made materials and caused our daughters feet to sweat excessively; while other shoes offered little to no flexibility to the extent that our daughter refused walk while wearing them. Since we live in the Midwest, we also wanted the sole of the shoe to made from a rubber which provided traction, pliable enough to bend and could be worn during all seasons. Thus Bugaboo Shoe Company was formed. Everything that we wanted and could not find made the foundation for Bugaboo shoes; quality leather, pliable rubber sole, style and flair, all at a reasonable price.
